Getting out on the water with family and friends brings a sense a joy. That includes going fishing, driving a jet ski or riding an efoil. The writers of and contributors to Boat & Sail Magazine are dedicated to related our collective experience to provide guidance or inspiration for your time on the water.
It’s our mission to make boating & sailing more accessible. You find that our reviews try to identify the gear or boat that fits the different needs or dreams of each person. Each boat is unique and we try to present what that is with a mind for different budgets and regions of North America and Europe.

Why Trust Us
Our writers include sailors and boaters with decades of experience. Some of them live full-time on their boats, while others live by the sea.
We try to go to as many boat shows as possible in the United States and Europe to at least walk through boats we’ve not had a chance to drive. We’re constantly testing yacht toys and talking to industry players to learn as much as we can.
We know a lot about equipment and we test gear constantly. We review based on research, trial and error, and we compare products with a mind for keeping prices down as much as possible.
