The Jeanneau Yachts 55 is unlike any other boat we’ve seen in a long time. The company has worked hard to innovate with this one, resulting in a yacht that suits both the charter market and private owners.

The JY 55’s wide beam and clever design make it a potential cat killer for its catamaran space and monohull performance.

Two features make this yacht stand out. The first is the amount of sunbathing stations in the cockpit and at the bow.

The other notable feature is the optional hard dodger or “doghouse” in the cockpit just forward the helm stations. It has a well-protected nav desk and a few more inviting places to spend a night watch than that seat.
