The NRS Vapor features a lightweight and side-entry design for faster and easier put-on and off operations. What’s even better about this PFD is that there is a large zippered compartment of the front side of the vest. Besides small stuff such as a whistle and a band, you can keep larger essentials in the pocket too. On top of that, a lash tab is added to the front design that keeps your knife within reach.
This paddling-first but boating-friendly PFD features simplicity with a bit more functionality than more expensive models of PFDs. It’s very compelling as a competitor to the Stohlquist Trekker previously reviewed above.
