The 2023 Sea-Doo Spark Trixx is a jet ski that offers a range of notable specifications and features designed to captivate jet ski enthusiasts with its impressive qualities. The only upgrade to the 2022 is the color change.
It has a powerful Rotax engine known for its high-performance capabilities. With horsepower of 90 hp and a low weight, speed and acceleration is impressive. In particular, it can quickly get to 20 mph, but the push to its max beyond 40 is more gradual. It’s a top choice for navigating through waves in short hauls.
The advanced control system of the Trixx is industry standard for its features, including a customizable digital display, high-performance steering, brake and reverse system, and handlebar setup. The finger throttle, start/stop button, and boost switch are designed to be customizable according to the rider’s preferences, allowing for a highly personalized riding experience.
The Trixx jet ski has been thoughtfully engineered to prioritize maneuverability. Its high-performance hull is lightweight, allowing easy transportation. This makes it an ideal option for individuals who lead an active and mobile lifestyle. It is simple to tow at 428 pounds for the 2-up model.
In addition, the Trixx jet ski boasts a comprehensive selection of safety features. These include an advanced brake and reverse system, a reliable bilge pump, and an effective anti-theft security system. These features work in tandem to provide riders with a worry-free experience, allowing them to enjoy their time on the water.
The 2023 Sea-Doo Trixx is a jet ski with exceptional qualities, likely to captivate individuals with discerning tastes in jet skis. The Trixx stands out in the jet ski industry due to its impressive specifications, advanced features, and exceptional performance.
Trixx-ing out your Sea-Doo Trixx
The V-Tech VICTORY Turbo Kit is a highly effective accessory choice for individuals seeking to enhance the performance of their Sea-Doo Trixx jet ski. The kit has been meticulously engineered to enhance the power output of the original engine, surpassing the 100 horsepower threshold.
The kit includes an IHI Turbocharger, a Wastegate equipped with a 7.5psi spring, a MAP Sensor, Injectors, and additional elements. Installing the turbo kit on the Sea-Doo Trixx increases RPM levels ranging from 8800 to 9000, resulting in impressive top speeds around 61 to 63 mph. What does all that mean? This jet ski will fly.
The Trick Handlebar is a notable accessory with exceptional control and grip for executing tricks and stunts. The handlebar is designed to enable riders to perform spins, flips, and various other maneuvers with remarkable ease and minimal effort.
The Trixx jet ski incorporates a seat extension that has been thoughtfully engineered to enhance stability and control, particularly when maneuvering through difficult aquatic conditions. Despite this upgrade, the Trixx will not win awards for comfortable riding in bumpy waters.
The LinQ Retractable Sky-Rise Boarding Ladder is an optional feature that enhances the convenience of embarking and disembarking from the jet ski. The Spark Trixx isn’t the easiest PWC to mount from the water, so one of these helps a lot.
The Sea-Doo Speed Tie system offers enhanced safety features by providing a secure tethering solution for vessels. This system allows users to fasten their jet ski to docks or other stationary objects, preventing unintended drifting.
Is The Trixx Worth the Treats?
Compared to the Yamaha JetBlaster, created to rival Sea Doo’s rec lite model, the Spark Trixx is still unique. The JetBlaster can trim up and stand on its tail–for a short period of time. But it’s around 100 lbs heavier and seems intended for more than just fun.
The Trixx is shorter and lighter, and the base model engine is less potent unless you upgrade. The Jetblaster can hold more rider weight. The Trixx offers a compact glove box with a capacity of 0.42 gallons, providing minimal storage space for personal belongings.
Price can be deceiving as the Trixx base model is about $1700 less than the Jet Blaster, but that difference quickly diminishes once you add accessories that bring the Trixx up to par. For example, the kit to turn the Trixx into a turbo will run you over $3500. When I priced one out with the accessories I would want on this jet ski and added the turbo kit, I was over $14k
So is the Trixx worth the price? A lot depends on what you want out of your jet ski. Overall the Sea-Doo Trixx gives solid value for the cost if you are a thrill-seeking rider.
