One name that consistently rises to the top of the list of innovative blue water yachts with some super features is Tiara Yachts. Tiara is has earned a reputation for a blend of impressive performance and innovative layouts for maximum entertainment potential.

What makes Tiara so special is its record of cruising and explorer yacht designs with superyacht-calliber quality for boaters who don’t necessarily have a royal pedigree.

Tiara Yachts range from 34 to 60 feet long and their resale drops very little in value, too.

Take a look at some of the best yachts from Tiara. Indeed, some of the best mid-sized yachts on the water.

Luxury Outboard Cruiser
Tiara 34 Lx Product

Introduced in late 2018, the 34LX is the smallest Tiara. It’s a luxury bowrider with identifiably premium quality. That comfortable and sporty profile will cost around $500,000. Used models from 2021 can be found for $400k.

The 34LX has the layout of a typical express cruiser, like the EX line of sterndrive boats. It has a centerline walk-through to access the bow seating area. This allows the cockpit and social areas to fill the entire 11-foot beam.

The bow has an open seating arrangement typical of a large bowrider—tons of space to relax in the sun and comfortable seating around a removable table for an al fresco lunch at anchor. The head is well-positioned (almost hidden) and surprisingly large.

The C44’s cabin space is really where it’s at. You’ll find two separate cabins, each with its own head and separate shower.

The master is in the forepeak, with a walk-around island-style berth. The guest cabin is midship and has two bunks that can be connected into one large berth with filler cushions. The salon is spacious, with amazing visibility thanks to the wrap-around windows and opening sunroof.

Tiara 38 Ls Product

The LS Series is designed to compete with other luxury center console designs, notably the Regal 38 SAV. It’s one of the best sub-40-footers in terms of sport yachting prowess.

You can walk straight from the spacious bow seating area back to the swim platform on the starboard side. The 38LS has one of the most accommodating cockpit areas for seating, including an L-shaped lounge and a functional wetbar. It’s all very tasteful with a premium touch.

A raised deck with steps on the port side makes getting on and off docks easy.

Transformable, Speedy Yacht
tiara-43-le-featured

The Tiara 43 LE is the first in the company’s new series of performance cabin cruisers. If it looks fast, it’s because it is fast. This boat, powered by twin Mercury V12 outboards churning out a combined 1,200 horsepower, gets up to 30 in about 11 seconds and tops out around 54 miles per hour.

As is expected from a brand like Tiara, this small motor yacht is beautifully appointed and well-equipped. The entire port gunwale opens into a large swim platform, opening up the cockpit space for water-fun or entertaining.

Down below, the boat has a large island berth forward and a separate double stateroom to midship. The pilothouse is enclosed with tempered glass all around and provides awesome visibility and all-season comfort.

All in all, the Tiara 43LE is a cabin cruiser that drives with power and elegance. Unlike other vessels in the class, however, this boat lacks a common area to work and eat, like a large cockpit table or a dinette in the pilothouse. The seating arrangements work great for socializing on the water, but you might want to look at the 48LE for overnights or longer-distance voyaging.

Biggest Tiara Yacht
Tiara Ex60 Product

The EX Line comprises the biggest Tiaras, boats larger than the Coupe series. The EX60 is Tiara’s current flagship model, with an overall length of just over 60 feet and a nearly 17-foot beam. It will cruise big water like a performance superyacht with impactful displacement. But it will do it way more efficiently.

The centerpiece of this yacht is undoubtedly the aft deck, which Tiara has managed to make entirely customizable with two separate modules. Depending on your needs, you can choose several layouts, from basic patio seating to alfresco dining areas with breakfast bars.

The “Adventure Module” can be specced in several ways, including as an outdoor kitchen and grill area. Fold-down swim terraces border the area on each side of the yacht.

Downstairs, the EX60 has three staterooms and two heads, each with separate showers. The impressive midship master stateroom has a centerline island berth with a comfortable seating area and tons of storage. Enormous hull windows make all of the cabins feel bright and spacious.

Tiara Yachts — The Most Prestigious Luxury Brand?

Tiara Yachts designs luxury cabin cruisers and explorer yachts from 34 to 60 feet long. The company is based in Holland, Michigan, and has one of the best reputations in the high-performance yacht industry.

These boats offer innovative designs, legendary craftsmanship, and outstanding customer service. Tiara boats are a common sight along the Great Lakes and New England, but they are becoming increasingly popular along the coasts as the company expands its outboard-powered offerings.

The Heritage and Excellence of Tiara Yachts

As a true family business, Tiara Yachts’ story is as much a story of the company as it is of one man, Leon Slikkers. Slikkers began building boats with Chris-Craft in 1946 but left in 1955 to start his brand of wooden runabouts called SlickCraft. Within a year, the company began playing with fiberglass hull designs, and by 1960, it was building nothing else. SlickCraft was sold to AMF Corporation in 1969, but Leon remained the president.

In 1974 Leon formed S2 Yachts, and the Tiara line was begun two years later. S2 eventually purchased the SlickCraft name back from AMF. They also acquired the Pursuit line of fishing boats, although this brand has since been divested. S2 was known for making a popular line of sailboats during the 1980s, but sailboat construction was mostly halted by 1990. However, the Tiara brand still carries on.

Since its inception, the Slikkers family has built boats at its base in Holland, Michigan.  Tiara celebrates its 50th year in 2024. The company has always built boats committed to quality and customer satisfaction.

Tiara Yachts: Synonymous with Luxury and Performance

Tiara sells Five luxury boat models, divided between Volvo IPS diesel drives and gasoline outboard models. Coupe Series boats are classic sterndrive cabin cruisers, with the EX Series (54 and 60 feet) representing the pinnacle of the cabin cruiser. Volvo IPS diesel drive systems power these yachts.

Outboard designs are divided among the LS, LX, and LE Series. These boats share similar luxury features and overnight accommodations but vary in deck layouts. The LS has open side decks around a central cockpit that is mostly open, like a large luxury center console boat. LX and LE boats feature enclosed pilothouse designs under hardtops, much like the class express cruiser. The LX is a centerline walk-through, and the LE is a classic express cruiser with side deck walkarounds.

No matter the model, all Tiara designs can be described as top-of-the-line. These boats come loaded with standard features and can be outfitted with many more options. They’re all built to the highest standards and from the best materials.

Why Choose a Tiara Yacht?

Tiara has earned its reputation for producing outstanding quality vessels, and its prices match. These are some of the most expensive boats of their class on the water, but you get what you pay for. Tiara is dedicated to customer satisfaction and making vessels that will stay in your family for many years.

The company’s top competitors include Sea Ray and Regal boats. However, as the name suggests, Tiaras are closer in class of motor yacht than other manufacturers.

Who’s a Tiara right for? In most cases, these boats are favored by those who appreciate the best of the best. With their new lineup of diesel and outboard-powered yachts, there’s a Tiara out there that’s perfect for every yachting lifestyle.
